So I’ve decided to add a blog to the site, I’ll start posting some videos and one of the first blog is a recipe. Here’s how this experiment all began!
This journey to Bosko’s GO! began with me (aka epaul) and my family being able to spend Thanksgiving for 9 years with my friend’s Jason and Michelle, which ended in 2020 with the Pandemic. During those holidays Jason would make his Asiago’s pasta and salad dishes for us, along with me making a special request for some old Bosko’s dishes (which were Asiago’s tweaked versions) to reminisce about the days we worked together at Bosko’s and enjoying the food. BTW, I haven’t mentioned, but Jason and I met at Bosko’s where we worked together for over 2 years. I worked there for close to 5 years, but had had a stint where I worked at Auberge Du Soleil in between, along with other restaurants in the Napa Valley, like Calistoga Inn, and Showley’s at the Miramonte. At one point I almost started a restaurant with Jason, but I went into corporate and he went on to open 2 Asiago’s restaurants, which is now 1. Here’s a link to Asiago’s, a must visit if you love pasta, along with other incredible Italian and fusion dishes.
In 2018 Jason and I started BottleVin, a mobile-first platform technology for the wine and spirit industry, so he would visit frequently and my family and I, along with some friends would get to enjoy restaurant quality cooked pasta dishes, salads, and appetizers. Here’s some images of some of the incredible dishes we’ve had,.
When the pandemic hit, Jason was no longer visiting and we didn’t have access to our personal chef 🙂 Of course I started craving the pasta dishes, so figured I’d master my favorite flashback Glorioso. As I started perfecting the Glorioso dish I asked Jason how we could make “To Go” pasta that taste just like it was cooked, since “To Go” pasta from take out, never taste like the restaurant. He had some ideas, so I became the lab and now I’m making ready-meals for friends and family that take only 15 minutes to warm up. So Bosko’s GO! was born!
